Have you ever been on a web page that changed your cursor into a cute little animated icon? Have you ever wondered how you can do that with your WebStarts site? Today I'm going to explain to you in a few easy steps how you can change your site visitors cursor into one of hundreds of animated icons using WebStarts and Webfetti.

Webfetti is an entirely free program that gives you access to hundreds of free add-ons for your website. It includes everything from custom glitter text generators, to animated cursors, mp3 players for your site, and much more. To get access to all this great stuff you have to download the Webfetti toolbar. Click this link to download it now.

Step 1: Download and install the Webfetti toolbar.

The first thing you need to do in order to get some great cursors for your website is download the Webfetti toolbar by clicking on this link . The Webfetti toolbar will add a search box and a couple of additional icons to your browser. Webfetti is safe to install  and gives you access to Webfetti content with the hopes you click on some of their ads. You can choose to hide these by right clicking on your browser toolbar and unchecking the box next to Webfetti. Don't worry - Webfetti doesn't deliver pop-ups and other annoyances and you can always easily uninstall and re-install it from your Windows Control Panel.

Step 2: Choose the cursor you want to use for your site.

Webfetti has tons of free cursors you can use for your site. To find them just click on the 'Cursors' tab on the Webfetti.com homepage once you have the Webfetti toolbar installed. You will see a preview of some of the most popular cursors. on the left side of the screen you'll see a long list of categories. There are a number of cursors for each category. Click on the cursor you would like to use with your website and the HTML code for that cursor is displayed in the bottom right corner of your screen.

Step 3: Copy and paste your cursor HTML code onto your web page. 

Once you've chosen the cursor you want to add to your web page click the 'Copy Code' button toward the bottom right hand corner of your screen. You may have to scroll your page down a bit to see it. This will copy and paste the cursor HTML code to your clipboard. With the HTML code copied navigate your way back to the WebStarts page editor view for the page you sould like to add the animated cursor to. Click 'Insert' and then 'HTML Code' on the toolbar and then paste the code in the area provided. Click 'OK' and your cursor code is added to your page. Save your page and the cursor code will be visible on your live web page.
